Meet Branden Smith
Owner and Therapist
Branden M. Smith, MSW, LISW-S, LICDC, is a behavioral health leader and therapist with more than 10 years of experience serving underserved individuals in the Toledo, Ohio region and private practice clients. He is the founder and operator of Enlighten Counseling Center, a group private practice where he provides therapy and supervises multiple clinicians. His background includes leadership of multimillion-dollar behavioral health programs spanning mental health and substance use services, including case management, inpatient and outpatient treatment, recovery housing, group homes, and grant-funded initiatives. Branden has specialized training in EMDR, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, trauma-informed care, and clinical supervision. He is known for a practical, growth-oriented style in therapy, consultation, and leadership.
Branden specializes in trauma, substance use, behavioral addictions, and working with high performers. He has experience working in Private Practice and Community Mental Health with a range of concerns such as Severe and Persistent Mental Illness, Couples Work, and incorporating faith into therapy.

Individual Consultation
This one hour individual EMDR consultation will take place over video conferencing. If you prefer other methods (e.g., in-person) please indicate your preferred method when confirming your session. Up-to-date availability for individual consultations is maintained on Calendly. Individual Consultation Cost: $65 per hour.
Group Consultation
Groups are generally held on Wednesdays from 12:00 to 2:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. You can find additional available times by clicking the button below. Groups meet via videoconferencing. EMDR Consultation Group - $50 per person for the two-hour group.
