Mental Health Therapist (Full-Time or Part-Time)
Pay Range: $40-65/hour

Enlighten Counseling Center is a Christian, Catholic-faith-informed private group practice with locations in Perrysburg and Findlay. We provide collaborative, individualized, and holistic care that integrates mind, body, and spirit—always guided by ethical standards and evidence-based practices.
Our practice is committed to supporting both clients and clinicians through a collaborative, values-based culture focused on flexibility, autonomy, professional growth, and work–life balance. As a growing group practice, we continue to expand our services, referral base, and clinical team while maintaining a supportive and connected environment.
We are currently seeking multiple Counselors, Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapists, or Psychologists—who are independently or dependently licensed—to join our team for in-person work at either our Perrysburg or Findlay office.

Position Overview
The Mental Health Therapist provides outpatient mental health counseling services to individuals, couples, and families in a supportive private practice setting. This role includes assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, documentation, and ongoing therapeutic care while maintaining ethical and professional standards.
This position is available as either full-time or part-time:
- Part-time clinicians must be available during high-demand “prime time” hours, including evenings (4:00 PM or later) and/or weekends.
- Full-time clinicians are expected to maintain at least 8 hours of weekly prime-time availability while carrying a typical private-practice caseload of approximately 20–25 client sessions per week.
Clinicians at Enlighten Counseling Center are encouraged to practice authentically, pursue areas of specialization, and integrate faith-informed care when appropriate and desired by the client.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual, couples, and family counseling for clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Conduct assessments, establish diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and professional standards.
- Manage and maintain an appropriate caseload.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in a supportive team environment.
- Provide compassionate, client-centered care grounded in evidence-based practices.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or social work
- Active Ohio license as an LPC, LSW, or MFT
- Familiarity with mental health assessment tools and treatment modalities.
- Strong commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload responsibly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Ohio License as a LISW, LPCC, IMFT, or Psychologist
- Experience providing individual and couples therapy.
- Demonstrated comfort discussing faith, spirituality, values, and meaning as part of the therapeutic process when requested by clients.
- Specialized training in a specific modality (e.g., Gottman, EMDR, DBT, etc)

Internship Opportunities
At Enlighten Counseling Center, we are committed to helping develop the next generation of ethical, compassionate mental health professionals. We offer internship opportunities for master's-level Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Social Work students seeking hands-on experience in an outpatient private practice setting. Interns have the opportunity to gain experience providing therapy services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families while receiving clinical support and supervision in a collaborative environment. Our goal is to help interns grow in confidence, clinical skill, professionalism, and identity as future clinicians.
